  • Drinking: Arizona Green Tea in the next few minutes
Well, after two weeks of well needed sleep my muse finally returned to me and I actually started writing again (w00t exciting!) I don't plan on posting any of it here 1) no one on devArt likes reading stuff and 2) I don't trust my ideas and characters to the mass public. Yeah I'm paranoid but oh well :P

I will admit, the bits and pieces that have been falling out of my head recently aren't exactly the bits and pieces I really need to be working on >.> but oh well. Have to keep reminding myself: Baby steps Ashlee, Baby steps.

I have a feeling that I might work better just doing bits and pieces as they come to my mind and then I will just piece them together when I'm done....as tedious and inefficient as they sound. I've been having some serious issues with transitions from scene to scene, but those are somewhat trivial. What I need to focus on right now is getting the overall plot fleshed out and then I can start polishing bits and pieces.

I have to admit though, it is a little overwhelming. This is going to be my first novel and I keep loosing track and going OMG WTF I CAN'T DOOOO THIS AAAAAA but I just need to take a deep breath and work on it piece by piece until its finished.


But wow, it is so nice to FINALLY be writing my novel again. For a while I thought I would never get back to my old self :/
